About us

Meet the early intervention Teacher

Diane Funke has been an Early Childhood Teacher for over 30 years and has worked in a variety of early childhood, primary school and learning support settings. 

Diane has experience working with children with developmental delay, Autism, ADHD and other additional needs.

She has worked in collaboration with occupational therapists, speech therapists and other specialists to plan and deliver supports and strategies to enhance the development and skills of young children with disability or delayed development.


Diane's Qualifications and Training include:

  • Master of Education (Early Childhood)
  • Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood, 0-8 years)
  • Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment
  • Registered with QCT (Queensland College of Teachers)
  • Best Practice for Early Childhood Practitioners
  • Early Childhood Approaches for Children on the Autism Spectrum / Additonal needs (Sue Larkey training)
  • Sensory Processing and Self Regulation for Children on the Autism Spectrum
  • Building Language and Learning
  • Fun Friends -  building social and emotional skills of young children by using fun, play-based activities
  • Dr Kaylene Henderson (child psychiatrist) Masterclass and Webinar series (including Sensory strategies for children with ASD, Understanding the impact of cildhood trauma)
  • Executive Functioning Learning Program
  • RAMSR - Rhythm and Music for Self Regulation
  • SCERTS training (Social communication Emotional regulation Transactional support)
